Naapurit, Helsinki zine. Editorial work done in collaboration with Elina Ylhäisi. The publication collects anonymous stories about neighbours from the helsinki metropolitan area, organized by postal codes. As we collected the stories, we gave the storytellers the freedom to define their neighborhood. The stories range from roommates to strangers—whomever the storytellers focused on in their neighborhood. These relationships are random and private, which we, as authors, approach with curiosity and gentleness. This version was published in 2020, with the original concept and stories collected in 2016. Typeface by Jung-Lee Type Foundry. The publication was also part of the Exploring Narratives exhibition, showcased at Aalto University’s Beta Space Gallery from february 13 to february 26, 2020.
